Best ASA and ASDM version combination

We are using ASA version: 8.4(2) & ASDM version: 6.4(7) and its very stable combination.

Q1: Is there any new STABLE version of ASA & ASDM available and if yes then please advise the best combination of ASA & ASDM.

Q2: How we will compare the new suggested version of ASA feature and stability with our current combinations i.e. ASA version: 8.4(2) & ASDM version: 6.4(7).

Q3: Please only suggest a version, if its very stable, as we will then follow your suggestion and upgrade about 60 ASA.
