Hi,

I am stuck with an issue, in my office a lot users are using various download managers/accelerators etc., I want to block these kind of access.

NBAR PDLM's can't help me and even I even URL blocking can't helps out.

Please give a best possible solution for that.

Regards,

Durgesh

Durgesh,

You can try limiting connection numbers per IP for example.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa82/configuration/guide/conns_connlimits.html#wp1088544

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa82/command/reference/s1.html#wp1424045

per-client-max and per-client-embryonic-max those the the two options who will make their life harder.

Also implementing policing migh cap their bandwidth usage.
