I have Cisco ASA box and would like to know if i can terminate the internet link directly to firewall?
If yes can some one help me how to do it.

Not yet. The only media you can plug into an ASA is ethernet. However, if you get a managed internet service, that's what they typically hand off.
HTH and please rate.

Depends on what type of Internet connection it is. If the hand of is Ethernet like a cable mdoem then yes you can attach directly to the ASA. If is a serial connection like most T1, Frame and other rates then nope.
Thanks,
Chad

Mate,
It's very straight forward, all you need is to address your outside interface properly and configure a static route towards your ISP gateway and then configure an ACL that blocks incoming traffic.
Your ISP should also route your address range to your PIX public address.
Is this what you are looking for?
Cheers.

For ex. if I have /30 for WAN connectivity and /28 for LAN pool.
How can I configure for NAT/PAT for Internet & VPN access?

The /30 is just for connecting to the ISP. You use the /28 as your address space.
Refer to the configuration guide for settting up NAT/PAT.
