Can't get ASA 5505 working

Hi!

I just get brand new Cisco ASA 5505 and of course I wanted to test it immediately.

I just connected it to our old 2950 switch and made identical vlan setup both with static ip addresses.

However I can't ping either way.

I allowed from ASDM the icmp and finally all traffic to pass, but still nothing happened.

Any ideas what to try next?

Only thing I see is that in ASA 5505 in config mode there are only ethernet interfaces even though the specs says it has FastEthernet. 2950 has only Fastethernet interfaces.

Any help will be highly apprecisted.

Have you confugured vlan for Inside and have you assigned a port to this vlan?

Are the vlans "shutdown"?

You can paste the config.

I have assigned that switch to dmz vlan.

DMZ vlan (vlan 3)is up and configured also on 2950.
