CISCO ASA 5510 - need help troubleshooting internet connection issues

We have two appliances CISCO ASA 5510 at our datacenter and both are on the same firmware version 8.2(3).

They are set up in Routed mode and are used both as firewall, NAT and router.

Configuration of both devices is exactly the same.

When either of them is connected and powered on, it work for some time and then connection issues begin.

First appliance would just lose connection (disconnect all active sessions) every 3-4 hours.

Second appliance just slows down within 1 hour after startup and keeps being slow (compared to the first device).

After rebooting the connection speed is normal for about 1 hour, then it goes slow again within the next hour.

It seems to be hardware problem because it stays even after resetting configuration to factory defaults and after upgrading firmware.

I would appreciate any suggestion or recommendation on how to troubleshoot the issues and any idea as to why the two devices show different behavior

having exactly the same firmware, configuration, wiring.
