Cisco ASA5510 open ftp port

One of my user want to do use Adobe Contribute and i think that through ftp and would like to know how to open ftp  on cisco asa5510.

On the interface access-list, you would need to permit TCP/21 for FTP control port. If you already have default policy-map configured, it should already have "inspect ftp" configured. Is it using the normal FTP port?

"inspect ftp" is in firewall.

Whenever the user try to use Adobe Contribute and it says unable to connect to the network, even though internet connection is working.

You would need to check where the traffic is to and from. Source and destination ip addresses would be a good start to troubleshoot the issue. And also check what port it is using. Have you check the ACL?

Also, if you have a CSC module see if the ftp failure relates to FTP on the module. For example if you disable FTP scanning on the module (if you have one) does the transfer work?
