Configuration backup using ASDM

Hi,

Similar to the way we log configuration when doing changes via CLI for PIX/ASA to get backup configs before changes, is there a way same practice can be followed with ASDM as well.Because ASDM is webbased.

Please advice.

Thanks.

Re: Configuration backup using ASDM

Hi Sunny,

If you look under the "File" menu in ASDM you will see a few options for viewing and saving the running config. The easiest way is probably to select "Show running configuration in new window" and copy or save it from the window that opens.

Hope that helps.
