Greeting everyone!
I have a problem configuring an ASA 5510 for our client network. The idea is to protect the core (192.168.20.0/25 network) from the following:-
(1) A broadband connection with a static IP (59.94.30.38), whose sole purpose is to make available the Application Server (192.168.20.38) to the Internet. This connection is not to be used by any 192.168.20.XXX user for Internet connectivity.
2) A connection from the local ISP (10.42.2.0/16 network) which is supposed to be the gateway to Internet for all 192.168.20.XXX users. Vital Info:
gateway - 10.42.2.1
dns - 10.42.2.20
proxy - 10.42.2.79 port 8080
3) All other WAN connections terminating in this core network, such as networks 192.168.1.0, 192.168.3.0, 192.168.8.0, etc.
Is it possible to make the ASA serve in this scenario
