Hi,

we have a ASA 5550 where all the remote user from ssl vpn are getting the ip address from the internal pool of dhcp scope that is configured in the ASA,

now we want to make the setup like user has to get the ip address from the external DHCP server.

Any idea on this ?

Turn it on:

vpn-addr-assign dhcp

Enter tunnel-group general-atts config:

tunnel-group GROUPNAME general-attributes

dhcp-SERVER IPADDRESSOFSERVER

If the dhcp server has multiple scopes you should specify the scope to be used for a particular group-policy:

group-policy NAME atts

dhcp-network-scope NETWORK

HTH!

Chad
