Daylight Saving Time (DST) Changes PIX/ASA ??

Hi, In cisco document

http://cisco.com/en/US/customer/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_tech_note09186a00807ca437.shtml#ios gives a table-2 showing the fixed version of PIX and ASA.

Cisco PIX Platforms

CSCse60554

Fixed in Version 6.3(6).

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) Platforms

CSCse61225

Fixed in Versions 7.0(7), 7.1(3), 7.2(2), 7.3(1).

does that mean only the same version number contain the fix??? How about the higher version??? If ASA is 7.2(1) does it contain the fix or I have to upgrade?

Thanks

Hi,

Every IOS releae has its own open & closed caveats. Recommend using specific IOS release to achieve required features and at the same time also ensuring to read the release notes for the new realease you are going to upgrade, to make sure you are not going to be affected by any other open caveat in that release.

Thanks,

You will need to upgrade from 7.2(1) to 7.2(2) or higher. If your OS happened to be 7.0(6) then you would have several upgrade options: 7.0(7), 7.1(3) or 7.2(2). As with any software, bugs and caveats do exist make sure the new software level meets the needs of your network and doesn't introduce any new problems or bugs.

ALL pix 7.x code are very buggy as far as I am

concern. They are labeled as "ED" for a reason.
