Can you advise if there is some way to determine why this particular CEF process on slot 2 is running at 75% while the rest appears to be around 30%?

Cairo#sho ip cef resource

Hardware resource allocation status summary

Green (Normal), Yellow (Caution) Red (Alarm)

Slot HW Resource Name Util Alert

2 E2_Rx_PLU 32 G

2 E2_Rx_TLU 75 Y

4 E3 Rx PLU 25 G

4 E3_Rx_TLU 28 G

5 E3 Rx PLU 25 G

5 E3_Rx_TLU 27 G

6 E3 Rx PLU 25 G

6 E3_Rx_TLU 28 G

9 E3 Rx PLU 25 G

9 E3_Rx_TLU 28 G

11 E3 Rx PLU 25 G

11 E3_Rx_TLU 28 G

I would like to increase the CEF alarm parameters to stop the logs on the router being filled with the CEF resource messages, but I am concerned that this process is running higher than the others.

The device is a GSR with IOS Version 12.0(26)S5a

Hi mayambanzumba,

I think you would have better luck posting this question to a different forum.

Sincerely,

David.
