DSL PPPoE brige to PIX

I have 2 ISPs,1st terminated on DLink 502T router using PPPoE, and 2nd terminated on PIX 501 directly and uses VPN. Both ISPs are having static IP. I now wish to scrap the 2nd ISP bcoz of inconsistency, and only use the 1st ISP.

I am trying to do a bridge with 502T and PIX 501. But I get the following error, while i try shifting my PIX from STATIC to PPPoE:

[ERR]ip address outside pppoe

Can not enable PPPoE on the same interface as vpdn.

What possibly am I doing wrong?

Ratnakar,

let the pppoe be on the dlink, give a dummy ip on pix and dlink and enable DMZ on dlink to forward all traffic to your public ip to the pix ip. if this solves your problem rate me.

i think u cant set pppoe if vpn i enabled
