failover addressing on ASA's

Hi folks,

can the lan based  failover and statefull failover interfaces support rfc 3021 at all ?

I have not tried it - but I see no reason why.

But why do you need to?

As Andrew suggested, to save address space you can use /31 for failover. Here is what I configured

failover lan interface failover Ethernet0/2

...

failover interface ip failover 10.1.1.0 255.255.255.254 standby 10.1.1.1
