Firewall Stripping AJAX headers

Does anyone know if the issue detailed in the following article applies to the ASA? I'm currently running 8.0(4) and have some developers claiming issues and pointing their fingers at my firewall.

Thanks,

Re: Firewall Stripping AJAX headers

I dont belive so from my reading of the Application Inspection I dont see any indication that HTTP headers would be striped.

If you need to be 100% sure, turn of HTTP inspection on the firewall.

Here a link to the approptiate section of the configuration guide
