Force port 80 and 443 via proxy

Is there a way using a Cisco ASA 5520 to intercept web traffic (80 & 443) and force it to default to a specified proxy?

Currently I have all traffic blocked and client proxy settings are configured using Windows group policy, but we now have a requirement for this to be possible without client configuration?

I remember in checkpoint it was possible using CVP.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi,

You must use transparent proxy with configuration of Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP).

Look at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/configuration/guide/dhcp.html

I hope this helps.

Best regards.

Massimiliano.
