FTP over SSL

We recently switched to secure FTP using FTP over SSL implicit. For the most part everything works just fine. Some clients are having random connection problems. It works and then 15 minutes later it doesn't. I don't think the problem is specific to our PIX as I can always connect from home through a $60 linksys router even when clients cannot connect through their PIX. I'm wondering if there is something in the packet inspection or some other rule that it causing a false alarm and blocking the traffic for a few minutes.

Anyone else having similar problems?
