FWSM 4.0 or 4.1 what has been Safe Harbored ?

I have a requirement to upgrade a a pair of active/passive FWSM's to get around a specific bug: the code is currently 3.1(1) and it's running in a 6509-e SUP-720-3B (12.2.(18)SFX8). In view of the available downloads the Safe Harbor logo seems to have been stripped away. I've already upgraded in a lab scenario with no issues to a 4.017 release. The questions are should I go for the release version 4.0 or the version 4.1 (and which code?) ? and why?

Hello,

Depending on which train (4.0 or 4.1) you choose, you should use 4.0(17) or 4.1(7). These builds contain all of the currently available bug fixes which will help with stability.

You should choose the train based on which features you plan to use. You can find the list of new features and chassis requirements in the release notes:

4.0 Release Notes:

4.1 Release Notes:
