FWSM Module Power Down

Hello,


Our FWSM module went down today. After enable the power and reset the module, It is again working fine.

Here are some logs and diagnostic tests are attached:


Before Reset:

I want to know the reason behind this module power down.

We have Cisco 6513 with IOS Version 12.2(18)SXF17

All line cards are required to answer SCP (serial control protocol) pings over the eobc (ethernet out of band channel).  When line card fails to

answer SCP ( due to high CPU, mis-seated line cards or hardware failure issues) the supervisor will reload that line card in an attempt to recover

it.  When the line card (in this case an FWSM) is reloaded by the sup, you will see these messages in the switches logs.

Pls. reseat the module and if the problem continues pls. open a TAC case to get the card replaced.
