FWSM Service Acceleration

I got an FWSM that I'd like to try using Trusted Flows Acceleration on. The docs say to use the service-acceleration command, but it just complains that I don't have the required license key.

sh version says Service Acceleration is 'Disabled'.

My vendor says the info available is contradictory whether you need an additional license, and even how you get it...

Does anyone know for sure what the license required is?

Today I've been told that TFA (service acceleration) has been cancelled and will not be shipped in any future release.

Has anyone else heard that? And do you know what we can do now for scalability. TFA was supposed to take the throughput from 6Gpbs to 20Gbps (Depending on what you accelerated and what you didn't)...
