FWSM ssh/adsm on outside interface

I am having issues connecting via SSH or ASDM on the outside interface of the FWSM.

I have also configured SSH and ASDM on the inside interface aswell, and that works. I doublechecked the SSH and ASDM rules too, even changed them to 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 OUTSIDE and still no luck.

I am wondering if the FWSM just doesnt allow SSH access on the outside interface?

Have you verified that your tcp port 22 ssh (or port 443 https in the case of ASDM) packets are arriving at the FWSM outside interface? An upstream access-list or routing issue might be preventing it. A packet capture on the FWSM can confirm that.
