FWSM Ver 4.0(8) Riverbed Steelhead

Hi,

I am using Steelhead Mobile to accelerate to my corporate LAN and its not working. I have been told by Riverbed that its my firewall dropping packets with Option 76. i know you can use tcp-maps on the Pix and ASA to get around this, but how do i do it on an FWSM running Ver 4.0(8).

Unlike ASA, unfortunately FWSM does not have the tcp-map to allow specific option to pass through.

The closest command that FWSM has is to configure TCP State Bypass as follows:

That will allow TCP with Option 76 to pass through the FWSM.
