Hi,

Have you enabled SSL for IMAP with port 993 ? Can you do it if not on the Iphone and if yes can you try deleting your account and reconfiguring it again with the mentioned settings.

Regards

Alain

Hi Alain

i delete the account on my iphone and try to add via ssl

it did not ask me for port just said are you want to use SSL yes or not

i said yes then it took some times and now it gives me following error:

imap server imap.gmail.com is not responding. check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in incoming mail server field

is this some thing to do with stupid ios on iphone or is this my config wrong (which i doubt that).

thanks

gaurav

Hi,

Can you try deleteing and recreate the account with the SSL settings, do you still get this message ?
