high cpu utilization when transferring via scp between zones (interface) on ASA 5510 with 8.3 image.?
I have ASA5510 configured with two ether 0/0 and ether 0/1 redundant (full duplex) connected to switch with 1000f Full duplex. Problem was encountered when performing a scp from one zone going to another zone, the CPU would spike up to 50 percent with only single scp connection. Once scp is done cpu would go down. It is kinda odd that CPU would be that high for a single transfer. Already verify cpu and memory utilization and unable to determine what causes it. I verify nat translation and blocks. Tested by disabling global inspection policy and threat detection and still the CPU would spike that high. I got no idea what cause it. Any help is appreciated.
