How do I open a port???

Hello. I am brand new to Cisco products and have a very BASIC question. The organization I just joined is exclusively Cisco-based, and we have two 890 routers controlling the two branches of our internal network. Both routers are managed through Cisco Configuration Professional 2.7.

All I want to do is open port 9675 in the firewall. I need all computers to be able to talk through this port (this is a Spiceworks thing). Never in my life have I had so much difficulty performing such a simple action. Reasons aside, If anyone can give me the detailed steps to perform this action with CCP I would appreciate it!

Thank you all!!

-Dave

Sir, like I said, I have never used a Cisco device in my life - I am brand new to this organization.... likewise I have never seen this CCP software before. This is my first time using it to TRY to make some kind of change. Your instruction to "share the configuration" has no meaning to me - I don't know how to do that, what it means with regard to a Cisco device, or where to access what you are looking for.

CCP has a nice GUI with a lot of folders and settings, but aside from that I am not sure what you are referring to. If you could elaborate I will be more than happy to provide the needed information to try and get this port open!!

Thanks so much!

-Dave

Hello,

No access to a CCP GUI interface so I cannot help.
