How to open ports 4679 and 4680 on Cisco ASA 5520

Hi Sanchos,

Are you trying to open ports for traffic coming from the internet or between different lans on the firewall? Can you elaborate it a bit more and if possible can you post your configuration.

Thanks,

Varun

How to open ports 4679 and 4680 on Cisco ASA 5520

Hi, Varun, thanks for your quick response.

Yes i'm trying to open ports for traffic between different lans on the firewall.

I have DMZ vlans ans Server vlans, beside both of them i have one more Vlan with UPS's using network shutdown module.

it uses ports 4679 and 4680 to communicate with servers...

one more thing for info, DMZ and Server vlans are on ASA, other vlans are on core switch...
