Re: How to select deafult PIX 515 boot image when there are seve

Is a 515, Actually since posting - this Pix had 7.2 on it so I did a "downgrade" and specified the 6.355 binary that we prefer to use - and it accepted it. Does the Pix just slect the highest revsdion number automatically somehow ? I dif tftp to another Pix (501) which was running 6.3(3) and it took the newer 6(5) file and booted up using that one without me havoing to do anything (which was great)

In Pix version 7.x you need to specify the image using the "boot image flash:/" command or else it would boot using the top file in the flash
