HTTP Downloads through ASA 5520

Hi,

A server application that provides http downloads appears to be timing out after 30 minutes when going through the Asa firewall - is there a setting that can change the timeout to 60 minutes?  The application timeout is 60 minutes which works when the firewall is bypassed.

Thanks

Yes, you can configure MPF to change the HTTP timeout to 60 minutes.

Eg:

access-list http-acl permit tcp any host eq 80

class-map http-class

     match access-list http-acl

policy-map http-policy

     class http-class

          set connection timeout idle 1:00:00

service-policy http-policy interface

Hope that helps.
