Intermittent internet connectivity

We have a office in which pcs are connected to hp switch to ASA and cable modem to cmts and we have intermittent connections there and to regain the connection back ,, at few occasions they tried resetting modem as there was no light and as it did not work the tried resetting pix and it worked and few other occasions it came back up just like that and speeds are slow and connections along the n/w is good and no errors what so ever .....issue happens more than 5 times a day... cn some one help us out,,,,,,

Hey thnx for your response and we do not have source verify feature enabled on the cmts interface as per the document.
