The iPhone has a Cisco VPN client available from Apple (or natively installed). We did this as a test. Using our ASA set up to provide both client and clientless connectivity (SSL), we accessed our internal network. We are also able to hit various internal only web services. We did nothing more than enable the standard VPN Client and Clientless services. If those are already up and running, then your should be all set.

You shouldn't need anything special from the perspective of the ASA. Configure it as you would normally. However, make sure that the iphone that you are using is running updated software so that the Cisco VPN client is included. I ran into some problems using an iPod Touch, turns out the software wasn't up to date. Once I updated everything, it worked like a dream. Configuring the client on iphone/ipod is as intuitive as the SVC if not moreso, so you should have absolutely no problem with this. Just dive on in.
