I've recently gotten an IronPort S-Series web security box and have it configured with WCCP to coordinate with my ASA. The WCCP seems to work for a week or so and then it dies. IronPort seems to think that the WCCP GRE tunnel is getting confused because the S-Series is on the inside interface's LAN and is connecting to that IP while the ASA seems to insist on using the external interface's IP as it's "router" identifier. Is there a way to change what the ASA uses as it's identifier?
