Hi all;

Is there anyway to check who is trying or have tried to hack network ? I am using ASA 5520 firewall. Is there any command to check it ?

Thanks.

Malik;

Define Hacking. Are you talking about like Dos Attacks? Software injections? Login Attempts to the ASA?

I like to classify hacking in software hacking and Network hacking. There is threat detection that would let you know if there are any kind of DoS attacks.

You can check that under ASDM, firewall dashboard.

The information would refresh every hour.

Syslogs also would let you know if there are any kind of security violations (Such as RPF or Land Attacks)
