Issue with SMTP & SCP services on ASA5510

Iam using an ASA5510 firewall in one of our plants. I'm using one WAN (Link 0) & two LANs (Link 1& Link 2).

LAN 1:

LAN 2:

Protocol communications between LAN1 & WAN: SCP, OMPRO (Customised TCP/IP ports), Ping (ICMP)

Protocol communications between LAN2 & WAN: SMTP, RDP, Database Equalisation, Ping (ICMP)

We've created necessary NATs, Access rules etc and most of (in fact all) two way protocols are through. ie, the protocols where it is a query-response, it works across the firewall. However, we are stuck with the one side communications like SCP data dump & SMTP mailing service. Also, the ping isn't going through from inside to outside.

This is the first time I'm working with an ASA5510. I've used my knowledge of configuring ASA5505 here but no luck. Could anyone help? I'm giving the configuration below (same is attached alongwith):

Hi Krishna, Could you please

Hi Krishna,

Could you please elaborate the concern areas? where to where you have the issue.... if any network diagram related to this if you have... can you share that as well??

It depends on the scenarios...

I see you have done the port based address translation and there are few generic traffic like icmp/smtp is not considered.... so if you give the design and explanation on the issue i will try to assist you with that...

Hi Karthikeyan,I've attached

Hi Karthikeyan,

I've attached the network architecture (pdf) & access rules (xls) alongwith.

We had outsourced this job to someone and I must say that I've never seen such a lengthy configuration till date. I seriously doubt whether something have gone horribly wrong.

I hope the documents attached with convey my requirements. If not, feel free to ask. Hope you could guide me.

Thanks and regards,
