Issues creating two routes default on ASA5520

Hello

Somebody knows if there is a problem with the traffic or services on the internet when i add two route defaults with the same metric doing load balancing for each packet on the ASA5520??

This is the configuration that i have added on the Firewall:

ASA 7.x

route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 190.66.3.2

route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 190.66.3.6

The ip address 190.66.3.2 and 190.66.3.6 are virtual ip address of the internet gateways.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

You can define up to three equal cost default route entries per device. Defining more than one equal cost default route entry causes the traffic sent to the default route to be distributed among the specified gateways. When defining more than one default route, you must specify the same interface for each entry.

You can refer to the below link.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/configuration/guide/ip.html#wpmkr1087689

However, you may not achieve perfect load balancing between the two internet links, if your links are not of same bandwith and your ISP is also not doing any load balancing between the links for your IP subnet.
