Juniper SA 2500 Cisco ASA 5515 Compatible

Hi,

I know it will work but just wondering if Cisco ASA 5515 Firewall and Juniper SSL VPN client SA 2500 cause issues if used together ion a network?

Based on that I can't imagine any reason it wouldn't work.  You just allow 443 to the Juniper through the ASA and you should be good to go.  It should look just like normal SSL traffic to the ASA and after the VPN is terminated to the Juniper, it's all standard TCP/IP after that.

All that said, have you looked into the AnyConnect SSL VPN functionality of the ASA?  We've used it for some time now and it works great.  Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, broadband, 3G/4G, etc.  As well if you go down the road of Unified Communications, you can also deploy VoIP phones that will establish VPNs to the ASA and connect to the Call Managers that way instead of having to have another VPN endpoint for the phone.

To answer your question, I need to understand how your planning to deploy this. Are you wanting to use the ASA for firewalling and the Juniper SA 2500 to terminate SSL VPN clients? Are you planning to place the Juniper on the inside of the network behind the ASA? Any additional detail would be appreciated and helpful.

Yup. ASA for firewalling and the Juniper SA 2500 to terminate SSL VPN clients. And as u mentioned Juniper SA will be on the inside behind the ASA. Please specify what other details you need.
