Monitoring Traffic on ASA 5510's interfaces

What is a good method of monitoring traffic at the interfaces on my ASA? How would I implement the built in capture tools?

You could use SNMP and a collector like RRDTool or you could use ASDM if you just need a snapshot. To use the capture command, please refer to the following link for help.

HTH and please rate.

you can also download your capture in a format usable with Ethereal by accessing the firewall with https..

ex.

https:///capture/

** Be sure you have http enabled and are allowed to connect with it from your desired interface **

Cheers,

Jay
