Multicast from Outside to Interface on asa - partial working

Hi

Have followed multiple advise but cannot succesfuly get multicast from outside to inside interface  of an asa v 8.2(1)

attached  the basic config of the asa and mroute  - doing me peanut in what am i missing here?

The pc on the inside seems to want to join the group and i hget packets in capture from pc to the multicast address - however these packets never leave the outside interface of the firewall.

any guidance appreciated !!!

Roger,

I guess you do not need the Igmp access-groups at this time.I would also remove the static joins at least during testing to have clarity.

Create a packet capture on inside and outside, see if the IGMP packets are leaving from inside to outside.

"show pim neigh"

"show mroute"

"show mfib"

Would be also interesting.

If the IGMP is dropped for some reason, first of all check loggs (informational level) and ASP drops.

Maybe also consider using stub routing rather then PIM, it's simpler
