NAT on ASA

Hi,

I have been asked the followig questions off one of my server engineers

we have 2 sites

Site A - 10.0.0.0 subnet which hosts all the internal server

Site B - 192.168.25.0 - no servers here

both connect via an IPSec tunnel.

I have been asked if at site B i can create a Rule which allows a public IP on site B to map to the SMTP server on site A to allow smtp through.

so say site B has a public ip on 2.2.2.2 map it to the local subnet of the other site

Can this even be done?

They want to do this becuase we have a problem with SMTP so we can to re-route the mail traffic over another ISP to see if it them causing the problem.

Yes, you can NAT a public IP on Site B to a private IP on Site A so long as you have the firewall configured correctly to route to site A and the NAT is setup correctly.

I have no rotuing just an IPSEC tunnel between sites.

What will i need to add to for this work?
