I have configured pix 525 with ios version 7.2 in transparent mode ,Kept both interfaces in different vlan & Allowed any to any traffic through firewall ...
Following are the observations -
=> As per rule arp request is passing through firewall & i am getting arp of all connected devices
=> Able to ping both side devices from inside firewall & same vice-versa (which are in same ip range)
Till its ok ....But
=> i am not able to ping from one vlan to other vlan ,we are running ospf on both side ,OSPF updates are not passing through transparent firewall
Firewall config -
#firewall transparent
#ip address 1.1.1.1 (managment purpose )
#access-list 100 permit ip any any
#access-group 100 in/out int inside
#access-group 100 in/ot int outside
