Hello all,

A quick portscan shows that port 135 and 445 tcp are open on my new installed 877 router. Why are these services running, and how could I close those?

Hi Jar ,

These port are use by Window and NEtBios.here is the link to read more about it.

But since there's no sign of any windos in our shop, I don't want the router to have any opening to these services what so ever. I want my router to answer as a solid closed wall when scanned. It seems the router itself answers on these ports. Please advise how to shut this down.
