Orange link light on DMZ interface

Does anyone know why my DMZ interface always only shows an orange link light?  It has all the same settings as the other interfaces but stays orange.  I don't know if this could/would cause any issues.

Hi Heather,

Here is a link which details the color of the link lights:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/security/asa/asa80/getting_started/asa5500/quick/guide/inst5550.html#wp1041140

The orange (or amber) light indicates it is operating at 1Gbps if it is a built-in interface on the ASA.

Hope this helps!

hmm it won't let me view that link (forbidden file error)  Does it explain why it is different than the other

interfaces?  I have tried multiple cables, switches, everything and it stays the same.  It seems odd to me that this

should be so.

Attached is the PDF version of the link, please see the section "Rear Panel LEDs and Ports in Slot 0".
