PIX 501 User license changed after applying high encryption activation key
Had a PIX 501 with 10 user lic. Applied 50 user lic. a long time ago. Recently went and downloaded 3DES encryption activation key and system has now reverted to 10 user. Is there anything I can do to get my user lic. back?
Re: PIX 501 User license changed after applying high encryption
If your PIX was running with 50 user license earlier, and if you have a "show version" from that license, please mail it to email@example.com along with current show version output. They will be able to send you the activation-key with 50 users + 3DES license. Even if you don't have the old show version, but you did receive the 50 user license key, you should still contact firstname.lastname@example.org about the issue you faced after getting 3DES key online, they'll be able to checkup their database and send you the correct license with both 50 users and 3DES.
