i have a pix 515E(UR), WITH 128MB RAM,16MB FLASH.
I Upgrade os to 7.21 with ASDM5.21 Version.
but i got a problem.
if i enable logging function.
the cpu usage will rise to 96%
if i disable it. it back to 3~10%. its never happen when i use 6.3(3) and PDM3.0 ,i used to cache the syslog message it shows as blow

"kk"is my syslog and asdm server.
192.168.51.253 is inside interface ip address.
where's the problem?

Hi
Can you configure your pix to login information pertaining to specific levels ?
You can do the same using the command logging level 4 which will log all the logs related to message level 0 to 4 ..

I have an idea , but dont know if it will work. the idea is to increase the timeout on the pix using the command
sysopt connection timeout
with regadrs
ala al najjar
