I have replaced my pix with an asa 5505. All seems to be working properly, except when I log into the ASA, I have a constantly scrolling screen that looks like a log file. It looks like the firewall is in 'debug' mode or something...I have removed it from service, brought it to my desk, logged in and it's normal. When i put it back in place, the constantly scrolling screen of 'teardowns' and other things. I have an 1841 router that the firewall connects to. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You are seeing this in ASDM or cli?

In the CLI interface. I'm not able to log in remotely, only from the console port. I was going to log in via the console port and correct my ssh access, but I can't cause when I DO log in via the console port, i see a constant scrolling screen that looks like logging or perhaps a debug screen.

I would start with...

undebug all

and

no logging console

Thanks acomiskey! That corrected the problem! I appreciate the input!
