PIX515e and PDM access

Hi All,

I have trouble logging into PDM from the inside interface. I can connecgtg ok but I think the process fails at authorization stage. The follwoing message is posted in the browser status window:

exception: java.Security.AccessControlException: Access Denied (java.util.PropertyPermission java.version read).

I have console access to the firewall and have added an admin user using

username <name> password <password> priv 15 command.

I am using the admin user to access PDM.

Please advise.

Regards,

P.

Re: PIX515e and PDM access

Hi P.

Please ensure your browser is running a supported version of java. Also, you should have something like this in your config enabling pdm access:

http 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 inside

After you've checked those two things, please ansure that you do, in fact, have PDM installed in the flash mem of the PIX.

Thanks,

Bryan
