I have a PIX515e running IOS 6.3(5). My Exchange server sends to a smart host on the Internet. Currently I send to the smart host via an IP address. I was just informed from my provider they want me to switch it from an IP address to a FQDN. They want to do this to facilitate future changes some of which will be planned and some of which will not be planned. Hmmmmmmmm I know when I initally deployed my PIX515e you could not use a FQDN as part of an ACL. It that still true? I have upgraded since... Does 6.3(5) let you? Is there a work around?
