POE firewall ports

We are just about to purchase a Cisco ASA 5505 Security Plus Firewall and would like to know the restrictions of useing the 2 POE ports, can they be used as ordinary ports with out this feature ?

Can you turn off the POE feature for these ports?

Do the devices at the other end need to be POE devices?

The ASA 5505 has Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch ports that can be used for PoE devices, such as IP phones. However, these ports are not restricted to that use. They can also be used as Ethernet switch ports. If a PoE device is not attached, power is not supplied to the port.
