policy of pop3 and smtp for portal server policies

hi all

i have a small problem

i have given a task this taks is i have applied a group of policies for portal server's in portal vlan and this vlan have prdwps servers they are 2 servers and 2 of prdmail server > when i applied this group policies i face a broblem in mail server's and not working . ok now i know that pop3 and smtp are not working

what can i do for that ????????/

for ur information POP3 port no. is 110 and SMTP port no. is 25 .

Check the services are running in the mail server and also checked whether you have the firewall inbetween the client and the server. Because this ports might be blocked.
