Problem with an ASA.

Hello,

I have an ASA and I'm trying to implement something like “load sharing” between 2 ISP's.

I tried to do “dual ISP”, but that's not what I intended to have…

I tried to implement “favoring static routes based on reachability”, but I did not succeed.

Somehow this last implementation is, I think, very near of what I need. The problem with this is that it has a limitation… it doesn't let me put 2 default routes pointing to 2 different interfaces (I mean, putting the traffic that leaves the ASA in 2 different interfaces), like this:

!

route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 190.3.14.5 1 track 1

route dmz3 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 200.100.73.11 1 track 2

!

Can some one help me?

Thanks in advance,

Rui

ASA cannot do loadbalancing like a router.

You cannot have two active defalt routes. Only one will be active.

for redundancy you can use the following

Hello,

when you said "load balanced" you minted to say "load share", wasn't it so?

Thanks,
