Reassembly limit exceeded

Hi, wonder if anyone could help with this issue... we have recently upgraded to version 8 from version 6 on PIX

When connected to Oracle servers over a VPN tunnel it bombs out with errors, looking on the PIX log (attached) showed a reassembly limit is exceeded. I've looked on the web and found a work around is to remove 'inspect rstp'

i have done this but the errors persists

It did'nt happen on version 6.3 any ideas?

Please remove " inspect sqlnet " too.

Do rate if it resolves the issue.

Please provide a running configuration of your device also.

You can try this command:

set connection embryonic-conn-max 16384

Jmoss..removing Inspect wont help..you are getting reassembly limit exceeded error because tcp-proxy function/Inspection is enabled..and as TCP Proxy is mandatory for certain inspected protocols SIP, Skinny, H.323,RTSP disabling it wont help...

your problem is this CSCsl15229

ok great at least we are onto something. I've searched the bug toolkit and it says that the workaround is to not inspect rstp which i've tried but to no avail

we are on code 8.0(4), I only want to cure this one bug as everything else is fine. What version should we move to?

this was a feature enhancement request...you may go to any of these codes..

8.0(4.1)

8.2(0.141)

8.1(101.6)

8.1(1.10

plz rate if it helps !

Guys i've removed the inspect sqlnet and it's ok now

we will however move to a later version of code asap to fix this bug

thanks all for your help with this
