Regarding Cisco Vpn client 5.X

Hi,

I am using Cisco VPN clent5.X version and my system Operating system is Windows XP-SP2

When i changed the Group authentication details in Cisco VPN client the following Error has come

Hash verification failed... may be configured with invalid group password.

Failed to authenticate peer (Navigator:904)

4 08:29:36.906 04/09/09 Sev=Warning/2 IKE/0xE30000A7

Unexpected SW error occurred while processing Aggressive Mode negotiator:(Navigator:2238)

Pls give your inputs to resolve the issue.Pls let me knows if further details require?

Hi Ramu,

The following message

"2 08:29:36.906 04/09/09 Sev=Warning/2 IKE/0xE300007E

Hash verification failed... may be configured with invalid group password" indicates the group password mismatched.

While changing VPN Client Group authentication please make sure the following are same in VPN Server and Client also check the Case:

1. group name

2. group password

Tnks for the reply.

But in the Server and Client i given matched details.In this case for the Testing i given mimatched details intentionally then it shows simply " Group details not matched.Pls type corrrectly" .But i didnt get below error.

Kindly lookinto this if any thing else.Is there any System bug or Client have to Update? pls let me know
